Designated Band Representative
Training

This training is designed to offer participants an opportunity to review the role of the Designated Representative as described in the Child, Family and Community Service Act and the Child, Family and Community Service Regulation. The relevant sections of the legislation, rules and regulations will be examined. Participants will consider how the Designated Representative function may be utilized to promote the safety and well-being of children and to ensure that the rights of children to culture and community are respected and upheld by the Court.

Training Time:          8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Please note: The training capacity is 20 registrants and
when we reach our limit, any further registrations will be added to the waitlist.

The location of this training varies as it is determined by numbers of participants from each Agency. For example, if your Agency registers 10 participants, the training could come to your community.
