Family Support Worker Training

This training is designed to offer Family Support Workers with a better understanding of the Child, Family and Community Service Act and delegated child and family service delivery in British Columbia.

The curriculum includes:

  • Engaging the client
  • Liability
  • Indicators of abuse and neglect
  • Risk Assessement
  • Child, Family and Community Services Act
**The training capacity is 20 registrants and when we reach our limit, any further registrations will be added to the waitlist.**

Training Times:     8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Please note: The location of this training varies as it is determined by numbers of participants from each Agency. For example, if your Agency registers 10 paricipants, the training could come to your community.
